Habits for success...


Dear Friends,                                               

As Dr. Stephen Covey wanted to understand the secret behind human success while pursuing his Doctoral Studies he discovered that habits have great influence and contributions in the life of an individual ,that is how he wrote a book 7 Habits of Highly Successful people followed by the book on 8th habits an essential ingredient for a manager’s success, 
 it is such a fantastic book ,in reality it is wisdom packed into the pages on earth.

Robin Sharma a famous leadership guru in his book A Monk who sold his Ferrari speaks of  the Psychological Process involved in the formation or deformation of the habit…what he says is it takes 21 days to either form a habit or destroy the habit…so to form any new habit or to destroy any existing habit one has to perspire till 21 days .
Looking at this Mechanism those who feel they should develop new habits or destroy certain habits should  set the alarm till next 21 days before the intensity of the commitments made vanishes so that we can actually reap the benefits of the commitments made towards intended success. Let the Resolutions start  getting converted into Realities….
